15th Oct to 1st week of Nov. Sowing must be completed within the first fortnight of Nov.

2] Seed Rate  100 Kg/Ha

3] Sowing

Draw the lines 20cm apart & sow the seeds continuously after application of fertilizers to a depth of 5cm, Avoid deep sowing.

4] Application Of FYM or Compost

Spread  10 Kg /Ha of Michorrhiza Granule on the unploughed field.

5] Seed Treatment with Fungicides  Carbendazim/Thiram at 2 g/kg seeds 24 hours before sowing.

6] Forming Beds & Channel  Bed size 10 m² or 20 m². The irrigation channels are to be provided sufficiently. 

Fertilizer Requirement(Per Hectare)

Wheat Aphid Macrosiphum miscanthi

ü  Spray 375 ml of Dimethoate 30 EC

ü  Oxydemeton methyl 25 EC  

Termites Odontotermes obesus Rhamb

ü  Treat the seed @ 4 ml of chlorpyriphos 20 EC or 7ml of Endosulfan 35 EC/kg of seed

Leaf Rust /Brown Rust Puccinia recondita

ü  Avoid excess dose of nitrogenous fertilizers.

ü  Spray Propioconazole @ 0.1 %.

Loose Smut Ustilago tritici

ü  Seed treatment with DEFENSE (Carbendazim 12% + Mancozeb 63% WP) 2g/kg seeds 

Stem Rust Puccinia graminis tritici & Stripe Rust/Yellow Rust Puccinia striiformis

ü  Avoid excess nitrogen

ü  Spray ZEB-75 (Mancozeb 75% WP) 2g/ litre of water

ü  Spray  K-SULF (Sulphur 80% WDG) 3g/ litre of water , Repeat fungicidal application after 10 days
